We are taking our first Disney Cruise in November on the Wonder. I'm a little confused about the dining. We have the early seeting, which is perfect b/c my kids are only 7 and 4, however I wasn't sure if I need to make reservations?

Welcome aboard, Stephanie! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney!

Dining on the Wonder is really easy! When you arrive at the port, you'll receive your Key To The World Card. On the bottom of it, you'll see your dining rotation listed as a series of letters in the order to which you're assigned that restaurant. For example, TAAPT would indicate you've been assigned to eat the first night at Triton's, followed by Animator's Palate, Animator's Palate again, then Parrot Cay, and the last night in Triton's again. You'll also get tickets in your stateroom that first day detailing this, however you only need to bring the ticket the first night.

Since your table will always be waiting for you, no need to wait in line early at the restaurants. Just show up at your dining time and your table will be waiting. Your servers will meet you that first night and will follow you to each restaurant throughout your sailing. We love this rotational dining experience and having the same servers each night. We become friends with them, they get to know us and our preferences, and they always have some fun and magic in store for our kiddos!

The only meal you'd need to make reservations for is if you choose to let the kids enjoy the clubs while you and your husband sneak away for a romantic dinner at Palo, the Adult Exclusive restaurant onboard. I highly recommend it! There is an additional cost, but it's worth every penny!

Check out my video about the World Class Dining and Accommodations you'll encounter on your cruise with Disney, Stephanie! Enjoy planning and stop back again if you have any other questions before you set sail this fall!
