Hello! We are taking our first Disney Cruise on the Magic March 3rd with my inlaws. They will be in the next room and I am wondering if the divider between the balconies is able to be opened like other cruise lines so that we can share one big balcony?

Welcome aboard, Dawn! I just returned from a wonderful cruise on the Disney Magic last week and can tell you from first hand experience that you are in for a very special cruise. The updates to the Magic are stunning! I sure hope you try out the new AquaDunk water slide. While I was nervous the first time, it's really just the waiting for the drop that is the nail biter! There's a quick 3, 2, 1 countdown and then you'll drop right in! Once that hatch opens, dropping you into the slide, you'll enjoy every second!

But, to get back to your question about the verandahs, I did notice that the dividers between the verandahs are able to be folded back now on the Magic like they are on the Dream and Fantasy. However, not every single one can do this, but if you're in connecting staterooms, most likely you'll find that your divider can be opened. Simply ask your stateroom host or hostess to do this and you'll really enjoy having that extra large outdoor space to share.

Only about a month and a half left, Dawn! Enjoy counting down your final days until you set sail, and please stop back and let me know if you have other questions!
