Welcome aboard, Kristina! My family and I just returned home from sailing on the
newly re-imagined Disney Wonder, and we were so thrilled with all of the new venues, entertainment, and activities!
The newly redesigned Oceaneer Club is simply spectacular! Andy's Room with the Slinky Dog slide, a Disney Junior space, Oaken's Trading Post with Frozen-themed fun and visits from Anna and Elsa, and yes, the Marvel Super Hero Academy! My son is eight, so he was most looking forward to the Marvel area, and it did not disappoint! He got to participate in activities with Spider Man, Black Widow, and Captain America! Having so many superhero activities with the characters themselves is such a treat on the Wonder! Captain America led them through training, Black Widow helped him learn about being brave inside and out, and Spider Man led the kids through all sorts of different skills training with their spider senses. The virtual interactions there are amazing too, with the kids getting to see themselves in the headlines of the Daily Bugle during the Spider Man activity, and interacting with other Marvel Super Heroes on the huge screen too! There are a few different times for each of these character activities, so check your Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App throughout the sailing so your little heroes can meet their own super hero friends in the club!
Before you arrive at the port, be sure that you've downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices. Along with a paper copy of the Personal Navigator that you'll receive each day, these schedules will keep you on track with the show times, activities in the youth clubs and other spaces around the ship, deck parties and movie show times.
Have so much fun, Kristina!
