    We will be taking our first Disney Cruise on Fantasy June 2012. We are not going to be using our cell phones while we are out of the country. Is there a phone number for the ship if a family member back home needs to reach us in the event of an emergency?

    Hi Amy,

    What a wonderful vacation you will have aboard the Disney Fantasy! I hear this boat is awesome! Remember to get to the terminal early to board in one of the first waves of guests so you can begin enjoying your cruise right away!

    They do have a number for the Fantasy so that you can have your family call you in the event of an emergency. However, I am not sure this number is published yet because the boat is still in dry dock! I believe this information is printed on your documents. If not, simply call Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 and ask them for the phone number closer to your sail date.

    You could also ask your mobile carrier how much it would be to temporarily convert your phone to international capabilities or "rent" one for your trip.
