We are taking our first DIsney cruise on the Dream for Christmas 2019, then going to WDW after the cruise. We will need a few cruise prohibited items for the WDW part of the trip. Will they just hold these and give them back at the end of the cruise?

    Ahoy, Ann!

Your crew is in for a double dose of Disney magic for Christmas this yEAR! A land and sea adventure aboard Disney Cruise Line and at the Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday SEAson! Disney Cruise Line goes all out on their Very Merrytime Cruises, including beautiful decor from stem to stern and lots of festive activities added to an already magical lineup of fun. Your inaugural voyage will be unforgettable!

Ann, I recently returned from a Disney Dream sailing with a few days before at the Walt Disney World Resort. For my resort stay, I needed a travel steamer, which is on the prohibited items list for Disney Cruise Line. This item was kept at the port for me to pick-up after the cruise. There is a table set up for prohibited or confiscated items once you pass through Customs before exiting the terminal. You'll sign off by your name and stateroom number when you stop to pick it up. There will be Cast Members to direct you to the table in case you need any help. It was quick and easy, so you should not have a problem.

It won't be long now before you are off on this enchanted journey in December, Ann! As you look forward to this special holiday sailing and stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, I hope you'll let us know if you have any additional questions about your magical vacation with Mickey! We'd love to help.
