Disney Cruise Line offers
ground transfers from the resorts at Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral and back to the airport as well. Currently, these are $35 per person each way, and believe me, it is worth every penny to let Disney take care of all of those details. You'll just show up, sit back, relax and before you know it, you'll be arriving at the port, ready to board the Disney Dream! Simply call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532 with your reservation numbers ready. They'll be happy to add those transfers to your reservations.
The night before you set sail, you'll receive a letter in your resort room letting you know the pick up time and location for the next day. Normally, checked bags are picked up right from your resort room at 8:00 a.m. (you do not need to be there when they're picked up). So, be sure to have a day bag ready for anything you'll need after the race and before you reach your stateroom on the ship. The motorcoach pick up times are anywhere between 11:00 and 1:00 at the resorts, but you won't receive your exact pick up time until the night before.
When you board the ship, be sure to check out sign up information for the Castaway Cay 5K, a fun run throughout Disney's tropical private island during your day in port there. Have fun training for the
