    We are taking our first cruise on the Fantasy in June/July. My daughter will be 3 weeks shy of her 5th birthday. Are there activities that are age or height limited outside of the clubs? Also, are there alarm clocks in the rooms? Thanks!

    The Fantasy is almost ready to welcome sea-faring passengers just like you!  You are going to have a spectacular time sailing to the Caribbean on this magical ship! 

    My princess was also four on her first Disney Cruise, and she had the most amazing time experiencing all that Disney has to offer its littlest sailors!  If your princess is taller than 38", she will be able to slide away on the Mickey slide located next to the Mickey Pool.  Even if the line seems long, it is a quick wait for a fun ride down!  My kids and I LOVED the AquaDuck!  Experiencing a water coaster high above the ocean is an unbelievable thrill!   42" is the height required for this splashtacular adventure, and riders under seven and 54" must ride tandem.  The line for the AquaDuck will sometimes get long so early morning and late afternoon are both ideal times to take advantage of shorter wait times!

    The only other restrictions that you might come across are with the Port Adventures.  There are some excursions for ages five and up and since these are run by independent operators, there is no flexibility with age.  Disney Cruise Line does provide lots of wonderful Port Adventure options so I'm sure there are several that are just right for your crew!

    I am also happy to report that you will have an alarm clock in your room with an IPod/IPhone docking station.  But, don't forget you can request a very special Mouse to wake you up each morning!
