Ahoy Tony!
Your crew is in for a pixie dusted experience on the high seas when you set sail on the
Disney Magic this December! Right now this vessel is undergoing a magical transformation so there will be lots of new spaces to explore on your journey! Not only will the ship be newly re-imagined, but it will also be decked out from stem to stern with gorgeous holiday decor to add to the magic and wonder of your cruise vacation! The shows, food, service and accommodations are definitely going to wow you!
I'm not sure the ages of your children, but there will be special holiday activities planned such as gingerbread house making, a holiday deck party, and holiday crafts. I also recommend King Triton's Tree Lighting in the Grand Lobby Atrium. If you are sailing with a young princess, the Princess Gathering is a must-do, but arrive early because this is quite popular. ( I'm not sure how many nights you will be on board, but it usually is offered more than once.) From what I've heard you also don't want to miss your dinner in Animator's Palate because it is a dining experience that showcases Disney at its finest-storytelling! And don't forget to take the plunge on the new AquaDunk! This slide looks like a wild ride that takes you 20 feet over the side of the ship!
As for Port Adventures, I'm not sure which ports you will be visiting on your sailing, but I do recommend trying a variety of excursions. Dolphin and snorkel experiences are often popular as well as stingray adventures and enjoying a beach day!
My final tip is to read your daily cruise newsletter carefully each evening and take it along with you wherever you go so you don't miss out on any of the fun!
I'm about out of room, Tony so please write back if I can assist you further!
