We are taking our first cruise on the Dream in June with two stops at Castaway Cay. We want to run the 5K and are trying to plan port adventures. How do I know which of the two days the 5K will take place so I can plan my port adventures around it?

    Ahoy Lisa!

I am very happy you cruised by with another great question about your upcoming adventure on the Disney Dream this summer.  The ONLY thing better than sailing to Castaway Cay is cruising to this paradise TWICE during your high seas adventure!

Many guests jump start their Castaway Cay day off by running the 5K.  When enjoying a double dip on Disney's private island, the 5K is typically on your first visit.  This is subject to change, especially if weather is interfering with a safe race around the island in the morning.  Be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or stop by the Guest Services Desk (Deck 3, Midship) for details and to sign up to participate.

On your second morning at Castaway Cay, you could slow down and enjoy yoga on the adults exclusive Serenity Bay beach.  My husband and I like to take a morning walk to the beach, drop the kids off at Scuttle's Cove along the way, and then enjoy the peace and quiet during beach yoga before starting the day's adventures.  It could be a great way to relax and stretch before your parasailing adventures!

Enjoy making magical memories this summer, Lisa!  Bon voyage!  Angie
