Ahoy Joanne!
Welcome to the Moms Panel! I think you and your daughter will find the ship very accessible. The inside accessible stateroom doors are at least 32" wide and the room is quite spacious with no barriers. There are open bed frames, a ramped bathroom threshold, shower seats that fold down, railings, low bars and an emergency button.
Your daughter can participate in many activities onboard including
Vibe, the club for teens. The cruise staff does an amazing job of planning for all ages and interests. There will be games shows, karaoke, movies, pin trading, character meet & greets, trivia, animation lessons, towel-folding and much more! Each night there will be either a Broadway-style show or a variety act in the Walt Disney Theatre. These are not to be missed, and there is special seating for
Guests with Disabilities. Your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, will be your go-to guide for all the ship's happenings.
Before you board the ship, you will want to fill out a Special Services Form so the crew is aware of your daughter's needs before you arrive. You can also call (407) 566-3500 to speak with someone about what Disney Cruise Line has to offer for Guests with Disabilities.
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel, Joanne! Please let me know if I can help you further.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
