We are taking our first cruise on the Disney Fantasy in June 2013 with our five and nine year old. We were assigned second seating for dinner which is a little late for our kids. Can we wait list for first seating?

    Hi Richard,
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  You have chosen an absolutely spectacular vessel for your first sailing, and I have a feeling it is going to be the first of many magical voyages!  I have a few suggestions that might work for your dining situation.  First, give Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 to be put on the First Seating wait list.  If you are still on the wait list upon boarding, please check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, for specific instructions on how to make dining changes once you are on board.  The directions will be on the front page of your Navigator.  Finally, Disney Cruise Line has a wonderful program in place for second seating Guests that have younger children.  It is the "Dine & Play" option & it involves your children being picked up around 9:00-9:15 from the dining room by the Youth  Staff.  If you want your kiddos to participate then you will let your servers know & they will bring your children's food out earlier so they will be finished in time.  Once they are picked up, they are off for fun & games in the Oceaneer Club & Lab!
I hope my suggestions help, Richard.  Please write back if you need any other assistance with your cruise plans!
    Have a magical day!
