Hello Moms! We are taking our first cruise in August. Myself, my two sons 5.5 and almost 3, and my mother. Mom has health problems and will have scooter on the ship? On Nassau is it possible to get transport to Atlantis or will she have to walk?

Welcome aboard, Jennifer! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise! When you set sail with Disney, you can rest assured that you'll enjoy fabulous family accommodations, world class dining and amazing activities and entertainment like only Disney can provide!

I'm happy to hear that you're considering heading over to Atlantis on the Discover Atlantis Port Adventure. Atlantis is a really unique resort, and one that is definitely worth visiting when you're in Nassau. It's so large and such an icon in Nassau, you can see it from the ship when you're docked!

Guests on the Discover Atlantis Port Adventure must be able to board and debark the motorcoach on their own (or with help from you). Electric scooters are not permitted on this adventure, though standard size collapsible wheel chairs are welcome, again as long as your mother can walk onto the bus without the chair.

I hope those details help as you continue to plan your vacation! Have a magical time later this summer, Jennifer!
