Taking the family to Disney in Late June. Theres always questions regarding the Dining plan. Is it a really good tool to have and is it really worth the money there have been debates regardg it? I have 3 boys 10,12,15 we be staying at the boardwalk

Hi Diane, How exciting that you are going to be visiting Walt Disney World in June! You are going to love Disney's Boardwalk Inn! I had the privilege of spending 5 days at the Boardwalk Inn Resort in December and it is a beautiful, whimsical resort, situated on Crescent Lake. The Boardwalk Inn is the perfect location for visiting Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios! I have traveled both with and without the Disney Dining Plan. My family does enjoy the dining plan as it has allowed us to experience different restaurants that we may have never tried otherwise and we have been able to better budget for meals as well. I  would think with 2 pre-teens and 1 teenage son that it would be a great value for your family! Go to Disney Dining Plans to learn more about the different types of dining plans, 2012 prices, how the plans work, and all the "in's" and "out's" of this amazing service Disney offers!  The Dining Plan itself is very easy to use and trust me when I say that your boys will not go hungry! I would suggest that you begin making Advance Dining Reservations for any Table Service Meals that you are interested in as many of the popular restaurants do book up quickly.. You can begin making Advance Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your arrival by calling (407)WDW-DINE or going online to www.disneyworld.com and putting in your dates of interest. Another great unofficial site to view menus for the different Walt Disney World restaurants is allears.net.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you! We are always here to help! I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
    Bon Appétit,  Jodie
