If taking an excursion in Cozmel and a bus is required to get to the excursion do you need to bring a car seat?

    Ahoy Darlene!

Thank you for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question about your upcoming high seas adventure.  I hope the excitement is growing in your house as your countdown continues to shrink!  Finalize your packing lists and download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you are going on a Disney cruise!

When setting out on your adventure in Cozumel, you are not required to bring a car seat if a bus ride is needed to get to your destination.  You certainly can bring one with you, but you likely will not be allowed to leave it on the bus which would result in you having to carry it during your adventure.

On the way to your Port Adventure, you can have your young sailor in your lap or if they are able to, sit in the seat next to you. When my family has hopped on the bus to our adventures, many times the motor coaches were equipped with seat belts which helped my little ones stay in their seats until we arrived.  If you are bringing a stroller along with you that has storage underneath the seat, you could always store a car seat there if you prefer to bring it along.

Have fun exploring Cozumel, Darlene!  Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
