I am taking my 3 yo for his 1st Disney trip and was just clued in on Character Dining!! We need to make reservations ASAP. Does he need a reservation and will he be charged a meal? Also, the prices are different in the reservation system vs the overview pg

    Hi Courtney!

Yeay! I'm glad you discovered Character Dining! It truly is a fun and wonderful experience!

When making your reservation, you should include your son in the number of people in your party. Children ages 3 & up will be charged for a meal at Disney restaurants. At age 3, they will be charged for a child's meal.

If you've seen any price differences between overview pages and the online reservations system, I'd use the prices shown via the reservation system as my guideline. Since that system takes into account the date you're looking to dine on, it should be the most accurate of the pages.

    Hope this helps!
