    Hi ! We are taking the Disney magic cruise in Aug. My kids 8 and 5 are beginner swimmers . First of all I would like to ask that can they do snorkeling? and if yes which port of adventure would you suggest for snorkeling Nassau or castaway cay

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I sailed the eight night Bahamian itinerary just a few weeks ago, and it was definitely the highlight of my family's summer!  I know your family will have an amazing time on this classic beauty when it is your turn to experience the magic of Disney at sea!
    Castaway Cay is my favorite port of call, and once you step foot on Disney's Bahamian paradise you won't want to leave!  The snorkeling on Castaway Cay is perfect for beginners! There will be plenty of marine life to see on the Discover Trail in the snorkeling lagoon which is recommended for beginners. Equipment can be reserved ahead of time online at www.DisneyCruise.com  or once you are on the island at Gil's Fins.  Your crew will be equipped with masks, fins, and vests for a nominal fee, and you can keep the gear for your entire day on the island.
