I am taking a Disney cruise then staying at Art of Animation for a few days after the cruise. When we depart the cruise, we plan to head straight to Magic Kingdom - will we have to pay for parking at the park since we aren't checking in first?

    Dear Carrie,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

The great news is that yes, that will not be a problem at all. Be sure that your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation is loaded into your My Disney Experience mobile app so that you can easily present it to the friendly Cast Members at the front gates. They will be able to help you out.

I do recommend in general that you do online check-in ahead of your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort. That will ensure that your information is on file and that you can skip the check-in line once you do arrive to your hotel after a long day playing in the parks!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
