Cheers, Mary!
Thanks for sailing by planDisney! A cruise out of
Southampton sounds like
a Fantasy trip, and whether you're sailing to the Fjords, Bilbao, or Cork, I know you will have a fantastic time.
When you arrive at the port, if you've arranged to travel through Disney, a Disney representative will be there waiting for you to get you to your transfer. There are a few options for
ground transportation, including private transfer or group transfer via bus, shuttle, or taxi, depending on your flight departure time and party size. A cruise line representative will happily discuss pricing when you call to book ground transportation.
It takes about 2.5 hours to get to the port from Heathrow, so if you've arranged your air travel independently, keep that in mind when booking your flights. Disney recommends that if you're flying in on the day of your ship departure, your flight arrives no later than 10 am. Don't book your air travel out of Heathrow any earlier than 2:30 pm for departure.
Mary, if you book your travel through Disney, you will receive luggage tags in your documents package. Make sure those are on your
checked luggage, as that will ensure your luggage gets safely delivered to your stateroom! If you have any other questions, feel free to float back by.
Bon Voyage!
