Taking a Disney Cruise in June and my daughter suffers from anxiety. I thought there was an activity book that I could download and preview with her to help ease the unknown. Is there such a thing and if so, where can I find it? Many thanks!

Well hey there, Jennifer! Welcome aboard, and thank you for joining us with your question.

A Disney Cruise Line cruise is a big adventure at any age, but it can be a bit overwhelming for kids. Adding in anxiety can probably make it more of a challenge to get excited when there are so many unknown factors boarding a big cruise ship.

The My Disney Cruise Adventure Booklet is a pretty fantastic tool in helping to prepare your family for their voyage. You can download it right on the Disney Cruise Line website, and print it out for your daughter. It will prepare her for everything from the name of the cruise ship you are sailing aboard to helping her understand that even the potties are a little different on a cruise ship. She can even make a little list of the things she may want to bring on board with her.

You may also want to visit the Know Before You Go page so that you can walk her through some of the things she may encounter or things she may need to do before leaving home and getting to the ship. It's also a good way for you to keep up with any changes in protocols before you leave.

I hope the booklet helps, Jennifer. And I hope you have a magical, memorable sailing!
