We are taking a Disney cruise for the first half of our vacation then heading to Disneyworld the last half Feb 28-March 7. Staying at the Caribbean resort and was wondering what building is usually the first pick up or best area. Was told Martinique. Thanks

Hi Michelle! Heading to Walt Disney World after a Disney cruise is a great idea -- I'm always sad at the end of a Disney cruise but the fact that I'm heading to Disney World makes getting off the ship a little easier!

The Caribbean Beach Resort is large, so staying in a room near the first bus stop can make traveling around Disney World easier. You're right that the Martinique buildings are often the first stop, but at other times, the Jamaica area is first. Buildings 25 and 26 in Martinique and Building 45 in Jamaica have the added perk of also being close to Old Port Royale, which makes them especially convenient. Bus routes are always subject to change so your best bet would probably be to put a request on your reservation that you'd like your room to be in the area closest to the first bus stop during your visit. When you check in to Caribbean Beach, verify with the front desk castmember that your room is in a building near the first bus stop.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have questions! We'd love to help!
