I will be taking my 5 yo DD to the My Princess Tea Party the first morning we are at WDW (3/3/11). I believe it starts at 10:30. Is there time to do anything at one of the parks prior to the tea party? We are staying @ Port Orleans if that is relevant.

Hi Mary! What a lucky little princess you have! I would absolutely head to the Magic Kingdom before your tea party if you have time. Because you're a guest at a Disney Resort, you're entitled to participate in Extra Magic Hours, which just happen to be from 8 to 9 am at the Magic Kingdom on March 3. From the Magic Kingdom, you can hop on the monorail or the boat to the Grand Floridian. If this feels like it would be too rushed for you, you might want to take some time and explore the beautiful Grand Floridian resort. You can even take a ride on the monorail!

    Have a magical vacation Mary!
