Taking DD for 8th bday on 11/1. Fly in 11/1 @ 11:30. Plan to get rental car and go right to MK by 1:30 since staying off site. She wants HDDR for dinner. What time do you suggest to book dinner? She's not interested in BBB, any other fun ideas?

Hey Melissa!  What a wonderful treat for your daughter's birthday and it sounds like you two are going to hit the ground running, I love that.  My recommendation would be to make your ADR a little bit later in the evening.  You just never know if your flight might be late or if there might be traffic getting to the MK.  I would recommend booking your ADR around 6:30 PM or later (or the later seating), just to be on the safe side.  If she loves to ride, make sure you two check out Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad at the MK.  Also pick up her birthday button at the front of the park.  Oh yes, and when you make your ADR at HDDR, make sure you tell them you are celebrating her 8th birthday.  I think she will enjoy all the CM's wishing her a happy birthday throughout the park too, that alone makes my girls' birthdays a true hit.
I hope she has the most magical birthday at WDW and if you have any other questions, please come back and see us at the Mom's Panel.
