I am taking my DD age 4 on her 1st trip to WDW May 8-13. I would like to buy milk to keep in my room for eating cereal. We are staying at POFQ. Can we reach the Goodings supermarket w/o a taxi. I don't mind walking if it isn't too far.

Well, I just Mapquested it out and found that Port Orleans French Quarter is about 3.5 miles from Goodings supermarket. And that's just one way. It would be a bit too far for me to walk to buy a quart of milk :-)

But if it's just milk you want, then you won't have to go any further than your hotel lobby. The gift shops at all the Disney resorts have refrigerator cases where you can get beverages such as soda, juice, and milk. Many of the resort gift shops also have basic grocery supplies.

Hope you have a great trip!
