Taking DCL in Oct, staying @ MCO hotel, DCL trans to port , previous post said hotel would take luggage from room then we will get it in state from. DH uncomfy with that, can we check luggage with the motor coach or DCL people elsewhere or take on the bus?

Welcome aboard, William! It sounds like you're doing your research about your upcoming cruise with Disney this fall. There is so much to learn about all of the fun and excitement on board, so it's a great idea to begin planning now!

Disney Cruise Line has a partnership with the Hyatt at the Orlando airport, so they work closely to ensure that guests staying there the night before they sail can relax and let Disney take care of the details. The evening before you set sail, you'll get a note or a call letting you know where to have your DCL tagged luggage ready for pick up the following morning. If you are uncomfortable with leaving the bags, simply bring them with you to the motorcoach and they can be loaded underneath the bus. You'll then hand them off to the porters at Port Canaveral who will check them in and later they will be delivered to your stateroom.

You may not know that on the final night of your sailing, guests are instructed to leave their luggage outside their stateroom door in the hallway for pick-up. Cast Members then take all of the luggage to a holding area and in the morning, the bags are all unloaded into the port terminal. As you disembark the ship, you'll head to the area that matches your luggage tag to pick those up. Or, if you have purchased Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers and participate in onboard airline check-in, your bags will simply meet you back at your home airport. It really doesn't get much easier than that, William!
If you are uncomfortable leaving your bags out the night before, guests are allowed to carry all of their own luggage off the ship the morning of debarkation, however it really is easy to let Disney take care of the details. Believe me, we've sailed quite a few times with Disney, and they've got this down to a science!

I hope that information helps as you continue planning. Please don't hesitate to stop back with any other questions before you set sail!
