I am taking my daughter to WDW for her 5th birthday as a surprise. She is the all american girl. Loves princesses and dress up. We will be there for two days. What are the best parks to take her to?

    Hi Andy,

What an amazing birthday surprise! You will have an unbelievable time. With two days to enjoy Disney World, I would be sure to spend one of them at Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom offers the largest selection of actual attractions for the two of you to enjoy. There are numerous slow moving rides themed around Disney Classics including Snow White, Peter Pan and Dumbo. Your princess will also have a number of opportunities to meet the Disney princesses while in the park. You can try and obtain a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle, for breakfast with the princesses. This location is extremely popular and can be reserved ninety days in advance at 407-939-3463. You will also find a great character greet area in Mickey's Toontown with not only the princesses but TinkerBelle and her fairy friends. A fantastic end to the day, is watching Tinkerbelle fly from the castle to start the Wishes fireworks show.

The second park I would choose is Hollywood Studios. There is a great Playhouse Disney show offered throughout the day. You will also be able to enjoy a beautiful stage show featuring Ariel and another with Belle and the friends from Beauty and the Beast. The Muppets have a funny and entertaining 3D show and the very popular Toy Story Midway Mania attraction is located at this park. You and your daughter can help Andy try out his new shootin' arcade game and rack up points in this 3D adventure-so much fun!! The afternoon parade features the loved Pixar characters in a dance party bonanza. If she is into  High School Musical, be sure to check the park schedule and check out one of the High School Musical stage shows.

Hope this gets you on the path to this birthday surprise. Wishing you and your princess a magical trip!
