Hello! We’re taking our daughter to Disney World on Oct. 4th for her birthday and I wanted to get some ideas on how we can make that day extra special for her. She will be turning 4 years old that day. Are the birthday buttons still a thing?

    Hi there, Rosario!

This is so exciting! Thank you for allowing us to play a small part in such a special day for your family. It's an honor.

    Let's dive right in!

First, yes! The celebration birthday buttons are available for your kiddo at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel front desk or from the friendly Cast Members at most of the shops in the theme parks. They would love to make sure that she has one so that she can experience all of the birthday love!

I highly recommend a Character Dining Experience for this special occasion. She can enjoy some one-on-one time with some of her favorite Disney pals. When our girls were about that age, they loved the Disney Junion Play n' Dine Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's the most magical dance party with some of the most popular Disney Junior personalities. Plus, Mickey-shaped waffles! Can you imagine anything more magical for a four-year-old? I can't!

Next, did you know that you can spend time up close with sweet animals at the Affection Section in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park? We could spend hours in this relaxing area, just petting and brushing a lovely new pal. I think your daughter might also love it.

Finally, I would also try to watch a nighttime spectacular like Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom Park or Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT. After a full day of celebration, it just feels like the perfect way to wrap the experience up with a bow.

I hope that helps you create a practically perfect Disney birthday for your precious daughter! If you have any other questions as you approach the big day, please let us know. We are here for you!

    Adventure is out there,
