Ahoy Erin!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations to your two princesses on their upcoming graduation! I cannot think of a better way to celebrate this accomplishment than by sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey.
The 1820 Society activities are reserved for guests between the ages of 18 and 20 who cannot participate in other youth clubs. Although the two ladies may not be able to join the 1820 Society activities together, there are plenty of opportunities for them to enjoy the ship and meet new friends side by side.
I would recommend they download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on their devices now. This app has a great countdown feature they can use to watch the days pass by until they set sail. Once onboard, the Navigator App comes alive with magic and they can see a schedule of onboard activities, dinner menus and even chat with any new friends they have made while onboard.
Some of my favorite onboard activities take place in the
D Lounge. This space hosts trivia games, karaoke, and animation classes and is a great place to meet your fellow cruisers. Be sure to check out what is happening in the lounge on the Navigator App.
If the princesses are on Facebook, they can also search for your cruise group's Facebook page. This is not a Disney sponsored page, but instead is often started by someone on your sailing. These groups are a great way to meet the people you will be cruising with and make plans ahead of your vacation. Type your cruise date and ship name in the search bar to locate your page.
Have fun making magical memories, Erin! Congratulations again to your daughter and her friend. Bon voyage! Angie
