Taking a cruise in March! On Sunday when we disembark, we are going to stay one night at Port Orleans. Is there free Disney transportation from the Port to Disney World Resorts? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Mary! The spring is a wonderful time to set sail with Disney Cruise Line! I live in Ohio, like you, and always look forward to springtime. But, next spring, you'll have even more to enjoy when you head south for much warmer weather on a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas or Caribbean! How exciting!

My family and I love to add a night or two at the Walt Disney World Resort either before or after our cruises. You'll be so happy as you leave the ship and see the other guests waving goodbye, because you'll have one more Disney night to enjoy before you head back home!

Disney Cruise Line offers Ground Transfers from the between the airport and Port Canaveral and also between Port Canaveral and the Walt Disney World Resorts. While it does carry an extra cost, I promise it is worth every penny to let Disney take care of the details! You can take your time disembarking the ship that last morning, as motor coaches run on a continuous basis throughout the morning to take guests who have reservations booked to the resorts. So, climb aboard, sit back and relax, as you watch classic Disney cartoons and trivia onboard the motorcoach. Before you know it, you'll be arriving at Disney's Port Orleans Resort to continue your vacation!

To book these ground transfers, call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 at least three days in advance of your sailing (but I recommend booking them now so you're all set), and they can add these to your reservation. The cost is $35 per person each way, but like I said, it's such an easy and seamless way to continue the Disney magic you enjoyed on your cruise and will continue to enjoy at your resort.

Have fun planning, Mary, and please stop back with more questions about your sailing over the next few months! We're happy to help!
