We are taking a cruise in a few weeks. We are flying in the day before and spending the night at a hotel. We need car seats for taxi rides. What do we do with them once we get on the cruise ship?

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel Bethanye!

How exciting that you will be setting sail in just a couple weeks on your Disney Cruise Line vacation!  I am sure your little ones are counting down the days until they meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the rest of the crew.  From the moment they announce your name as you step aboard the ship the magic never ends.

The great thing about a Disney Cruise Line stateroom is the available space to store your luggage and personal items while onboard.  Once you board the ship and enter your stateroom, you will see available closet space and storage under your bed where you can place your car seats out of sight until you debark.  Remember to affix your stateroom tags on your luggage and your car seats before heading to the port.  When you arrive, the porters will take your luggage and car seats for you and magically whisk it all off to your stateroom so you can enjoy the port terminal and exploring the ship as you start your vacation!

An option you could consider in place of taxi service to port is a private car service.  Many offer car seats for you so that you would not need to travel with them.  It may make your journey a little lighter if you don't need the car seats other then transportation between the airport, your hotel and your departure port!
Be sure to check out Onboard Airline Check-In if flying with a qualified partner airline.  This service allows you to check your luggage (including those car seats!) and get your boarding passes for your flight home before you debark the ship.  Its a great time saver to skip airport check in lines making your trip home much easier when traveling with young ones!

Bon voyage and happy cruising! Angie
