Hello, I will be taking a cruise with my extended family in April. My daughter is ten and I know she is going to want to spend time with her triplet cousins, who are going to be 11 at the time of the cruise. Will she be able to go to the Edge with them?

    Welcome Aboard, Catherine!

I am so glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about your upcoming cruise! My daughter was 10 years old on our last family cruise. We were traveling with a gaggle of six kids, ranging in age from ten to fourteen. It was our experience that they allowed our daughter to go to Edge with her friends. I believe this is very dependent on the amount of kids in any given age range on the ship, so my answer is not a guarantee that your daughter will be able to do the same.

The good news is that you can grant your daughter permission to check herself in and out of the Oceaneer Club, should she not be allowed into the Edge tween club. There are also plenty of places for the kids to be together and "hang out" that is not the clubs.

I hope this helps to ease your mind a bit and that you and your extended family have an amazing cruise! Please let me know if I can answer any further cruise questions.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
