Hi, we are taking our 1st cruise ever. 7 day eastern carribean in oct 2012 on fantasy ship. I would like to know what the edge is like for 11-13yr olds. We have gone to WDW 2yrs ago and loved every minute, will the cruise measure up? Thanks

    Hi Rosmary,

Although my family loves Walt Disney World, our favorite place to be is on a Disney Cruise!  From the moment you step onboard, you are going to be in awe of  this magnificent ship.

Your tweens will enjoy being able to have the freedom to explore all that it has to offer including Edge.  The youth counselors at Edge have great age-appropriate activities planned for each day starting around 10:00 each morning until midnight!  Each night in your stateroom, you will receive a Personal Navigator that will be your guide for all the ship's activities for the next day.  Your tweens can take a look and pick what activities interest them the most.  It really is the key to maximizing your time onboard. You will also find important information about movies, family events, entertainment information and much more listed in the Personal Navigator.

Since your family loves Walt Disney World, don't forget about the AquaDuck!  I have a feeling your tweens will spend lots of time being swept away 12 decks above the sea!

Please let me know if you have any more questions about cruising on Disney!

Have a wonderful day and a magical cruise!
