    I am taking my SO to California Grill and want to do something special. It's not an anniversary or birthday, but it's our first trip to WDW together and I want to make the evening a memorable one. Can I request some sort of special experience while there?

    Hi Tiffini! Disney's Contemporary Resort boasts one of Walt Disney World best dining experiences, California Grill. Set at the very top floor of the resort, this restaurant boast stunning panoramic views of Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon. My family and I make a reservation during our final night at WDW and its a fitting closing to a wonderful vacation! My primary suggestion would be to book your reservation about one hour prior to the start of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, the fireworks event at Magic Kingdom. During Wishes, the lights in the restaurant are dimmed and the music from Wishes is piped into the restaurant. You also have access to their private promenade to enjoy a scenic view of MK and to watch Wishes. Ask reservations for a window table. Another suggestion I would make is to perhaps contact Disney Floral Gifts at (407) WDW-GIFT and speak to the Dream Makers there. They will beable to work with you to arrange perhaps delivery of special floral arrangements, champagne and flutes or chocolates to your table side.
