Hi! We are taking our boys on their first trip to WDW in Feb! They will be 4 and 2. We want to stay at a moderate resort but really want the hotel with the best transportation to/from the parks so we can come back for naps. Which do you think is the best?

Honestly, I think you will find transportation to be about the same at any of the moderate resorts. That has always been our experience. If I had to name what was faster or slower, I would say that Coronado Springs and Carribbean Beach were somewhat better for us than Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter.

Personally, I would choose the resort with the themeing that most appeals to your family. At my house, we lean heavily toward Caribbean Beach. We love the laid-back feel of the resort, and even the large size, which allows for relaxing walks along the water. My daughters enjoy the playgrounds and the sand on the beaches, and I enjoy watching them build sandcastles from a hammock! This resort was also recently completely renovated, with a fabulous zero-entry pool and pirate-themed mini splash park for little ones. And the pirate themed rooms are a big hit!
