We are taking our 6,almost 7 yr old to WDW four parks on our 7 day vacation. 1) are there water fountain's everywhere so we canrefill water bottles? 2) This is first visit-going to four parks & there all day,do I need to rent stroller,70lbs will he fit

Hi, Barbara!  You will find plenty of drinking fountains located throughout each of the theme parks where you can fill your water bottles.  Most of the restrooms have a fountain outside, and there are others scattered at various locations throughout the parks.  If you need help to locate the closest one, you can just ask your closest Cast Member to direct you.

As for whether or not your son will need a stroller, I think it has to to a lot with him, his abilities, and what time of year you are going.  He will fit into the strollers available for rent at Walt Disney World.  I would probably rent a double stroller, just because it would offer him a little bit more room.  If he is not used to the amount of walking, you might be better off with a stroller.  There is a lot of distance to be covered over the course of the four theme parks, and small legs get tired much more quickly.  I find for my family that I try to space the day so we alternate with something that is mostly sitting with something that either has a much longer line or something we have to stand for.

If you are going during the height of the summer, it can be overwhelmingly hot.  I know my kids tend to get tired much more quickly on those hot days, and a stroller can really come in handy.

Having said that, he is going to be the best answer to your question.  Some kids at this age don't want to sit in a stroller.  See if it's something he'd be comfortable with.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
