Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and you have the Free Disney Dining Plan? Sounds like the perfect vacation combination to me!
With this promotion, you’ll enjoy one quick-service meal, one table-service meal and two snacks per person, per night of your stay. And just last year, beer, wine, and cocktails were added for Guests ages 21 and older, so there's a lot to like about that! The official word from Disney is that Guests
cannot convert table-service meals to quick-service meals (I think this may have been allowed in the past, but it is no longer the case).
However, to maximize the value of the Disney Dining Plan, I wouldn't recommend you do that anyway.
Yachtsman Steakhouse and
Flying Fish are two of my favorite Signature Restaurants and are conveniently located to Disney's Yacht Club Resort. You can also walk to the International Gateway which is an entrance to Epcot's World Showcase, where you'll have an array of great table-service options to choose from.
Speaking of Epcot, be sure to make time for the
Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival! This would be a fantastic time to redeem those extra snack credits. Pick up your festival map when you enter the park, so you can plan your strategy for snacking around the world!
