Is it taboo to not wear a Disney brand princess dress to the Royal table? My daughter would like to dress up, but is very picky about the itchy factor of costumes. If I make or purchase a dress that is not a Disney brand will she be out of place?

It is absolutely NOT taboo to wear a non-Disney princess dress anywhere at WDW.  Your princess is free to wear whatever dress makes her happy and comfortable.  In fact I have heard some stories of little princesses in hand-made or non-Disney outfits getting extra special attention from Disney's princesses, simply because their outfits were different and therefore stood out from some of the others.

Hope you and you princess have a splendid visit to the Royal Table, regardless of the attire!
