Can a table service be used at a quick serve restaurant?

Technically no, but in practice, yes.

This situation is not at all uncommon. A guest has table service Dining Plan credits remaining and, because of lack of time, lack of hunger, or pure food preference, he or she would rather eat a quick service meal than a table service meal.

According to the details of the plan, table service credits are supposed to be used for table service meals and quick service credits used for quick service meals. However, in almost all cases, the cast members at the quick service restaurants will allow you to apply the table service credit to the quick service meal. Simply ask at the register if they will allow you to do this. In most cases, the answer will be yes.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World.
