Do many of the table service restaurants have booths? Our son is much easier to contain in a booth. Can we request a booth when we make our reservations? Considering Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, CRT, Prime Time Cafe, Akershus, and Garden Grill.

Some, but by no means all, of the table service restaurants at WDW have a few booths here and there. But the vast majority of seating at WDW restaurants is regular tables with chairs. Others have booth-style banquette seating on one side of the table and chairs on the other.

There is no way to request a particular seating type in advance or when making your reservations. (Unless you have a person in your group with a wheelchair or mobility handicap. In this situation, you'll want to ask your reservationist to make a note on your file so that the restaurant can prepare the most appropriate table.) When you are checking into your reservation, you could ask the cast member at the podium if a booth is available, but this could increase your wait time.

Of the restaurants on your list, your best bet would be the Garden Grill. A large percentage of the seating there is semi-circular booths. The others on your list are all great choices, but they have few, or no, booth-style seating.

The restaurant at WDW that I can think of that has the most booths is the Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here, the booths are made to look like cars at a drive-in movie. Lots of fun for the kids (and the adults)!

    Hope this helps.
