Heigh-Ho Karin,
This is a great question and one many Guests have inquired about and the answer varies depending on the type of table service restaurant, the restaurant itself and sometimes the server.
Dining around Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do, but I am also not a huge portion eater and sometimes just want some crunchy chicken and fries. Guests dining at one of the buffets or all-you-can-eat Table Service restaurants, such as
Cape May Cafe,
Liberty Tree Tavern,
‘Ohana along with many others, will be charged an adult portion price. However, Guests feasting at a Table Service Restaurant, with a kid’s menu selection, can always attempt to order from the menu, many times it is fine. Some Cast Member will kindly advise it is for the younger Guests but can accommodate the portion size to one of an adult’s and adjust the price accordingly. Anything is possible with a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust.
