Can you use a table service credit to get a quick serve meal if we don't want to commit to table service every day? I read on here you can trade them but my travel lady says no. So which is it?? Thank you

Hi, Monique!  The by the book answer is no.  Your meal credits have to be used for the meal for which they were intended.

Having said that some guests have had luck "trading" meal credits - always down, never up.  It seems that there is some discretion on the part of the restaurant in choosing to occasionally allow a guest to trade a table service meal for a quick service meal.  This is the exception to the rule, and definitely, it's not the norm.

It may seem to be tough to commit to a table service meal every day, but honestly, it may work out in your favor.  It's sometimes nice to have a built in break, and if you are going to be there when it's really hot, a cool, air conditioned room for an hour can be just the refreshment you need to recharge your batteries.

Besides, if you are paying for your dining plan, you'd be losing money trading credits down!  Plan some fun character experiences or unique dining locations to help add some special flair to your upcoming vacation.

    Have a wonderful trip!
