How do I switch a single person reservation to someone else in my party?

Hiya, Courtney! I'm so glad you found the pixie dust that Tinker Bell left for you and followed it back here to planDisney!

Oh boy! It sounds like you're putting the finishing touches on your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth and I couldn't be more excited for you! You'll be visiting at a great time since The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be in full swing. Be sure to check out the Beacons of Magic which light up each of the parks in new and exciting ways, and you won't want to miss enjoying some of the celebratory desserts to end the night on a sweet note!

Courtney, if you're looking to change the Guest that's currently listed in your travel party to another person, my best tip would be to reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members! A little like real-life fairy godparents, they will be able to add a little pixie dust to your situation and make any necessary changes. If you'd like to call a Cast Member, just have your reservation number and the new Guest's information handy! I'd recommend calling right at 7:00 AM EST since their type of magic can sometimes be in high demand.

If what you're looking to do is share the travel plans with a Guest in your travel party, you can do that easily! First, log into your account online. Hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab and click My Family & Friends. If you see a Guest in your travel party with the words "Plans managed by me" next to their name, click "Update" to the right. From here, click the "Share Planning with" link to invite this Guest to co-manage their plans. Ta-da! You are one step closer to your magical vacation!

You'll also want to be sure that you've made your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is the best way to make sure that you've reserved the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. I'd also recommend taking some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app. This app is a little like holding a magic wand in your hand, unlocking everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food. This way, you know your meals and snacks will be ready and waiting for you right when you want them!

    See ya real soon!

While we love to travel to galaxies far, far away, we consider Walt Disney World Resort our second home and I can't wait to help you add even more magic to your Disney vacations!
