Can you switch to a park hopper ticket after you have already purchased a single park per day ticket, and used a day? Asking bc we are booking the 4 day single park, but the last day is HS, and if we wanted to go to MK again in the afternoon could we?

    Hi Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love the flexibility of having the Park Hopper Option added to my ticket, but it really depends on what works best for your family and your plans!

I'm delighted to let you know you can upgrade your ticket at any point in which it still has a valid admission on it. I do want to advise you though that the upgrade price difference will be based on the original length of the ticket and not just what is remaining for admission. For example, if you purchase a four day, single park per day ticket and use two days and on your third day would like to upgrade to include the Park Hopper Option, you will pay the upgrade difference on four day ticket, not the two days remaining. For this reason, I would recommend planning ahead and determining if you think you'll want to bounce between destinations and upgrading immediately to really maximize the use of the Park Hopper!

To upgrade your ticket, you can visit any theme park ticket window, Guest Relations locations or the lobby concierge at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions!
