Walt Disney World Resort faster than a snowflake melts in Florida. Let's talk about MagicBands to ensure your daughter has some pixie dust on her wrist while she's here!
Once a MagicBand or MagicBand+ has been linked to a guest in their My Disney Experience account, it
can't be transferred to another guest. MagicBands are lifelong pals! So if the MagicBand you have is already assigned to you, then your only option is to enjoy it and buy your daughter her own band. You can choose from dozens of
colors and themes at most merchandise locations in the theme parks and Disney Resort Hotels.
If the band you'd like to give her has never been assigned to a guest, you can
link it to your account in your mobile app. You'll be prompted to enter the band's serial number, and you should get an option to select the guest who will use it. Be sure your daughter is part of your Family and Friends, and her name will appear in a dropdown list.
Since your visit is so close, I suggest you call the
App and MagicBand Support line for assistance. They'll let you know if the band is eligible to be transferred to your little princess! They can also answer any other questions you have to make your visit smooth sailing.
My favorite feature of my MagicBand+ is its interactive lights and haptics. For example, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, my band becomes part of the
Festival of the Lion King. I don't want to spoil the fun, so I'll just say there's a party on my arm!
