    Hello for sweethearts night do i only need to purchase the special event ticket or do i need a general admission ticket as well?

    Thanks for stopping by with your question. Deep down, I'm a romantic at heart, so I love that you're thinking ahead for next year and looking at attending Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite! 

    Event dates and ticket sales haven't been announced yet, but I would hope that the Disney Parks Blog will announce next year's Disneyland After Dark events sometime in December (that's what happened last year), with tickets for Sweethearts' Nite going on sale soon afterwards. 

    When you purchase a Disneyland After Dark Ticket, you are allowed to enter Disneyland Park for a pre-party mix-in from 6-9 p.m. before the event formally begins at 9 p.m. So you'll have three hours to enjoy the Park as it operates normally before the party begins. This is all included with your Special Event Ticket purchase and you will not need a general admission ticket to attend the party. If you would like to be able to enter the Parks before 6 p.m., then you will need to purchase a standard Theme Park Ticket. Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog because these policies are always subject to change.

    One of the perks of these Special Events is that adult Guests are allowed to dress up and wear costumes into the Park. I've seen some pretty elaborate costumes that are really impressive. And have fun with all the cool Photo Ops and special characters! I love that we got to see both Indy and Marion Ravenwood in Adventureland last year. I've always been a huge Indiana Jones fan.
