We're a sweet ice tea kind of family, can we get sweet ice tea in Disney, if not are there sugar packets avail? Thanks

Hi Christy! As a fellow North Carolina gal, I've got your back on this one! At many restaurants here in our state, we don't even have to say "sweet" when we order tea, but at Walt Disney World, sweet tea is a little harder to come by.  However, there are a few restaurants where you can get your sweet tea fix. The 50s Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios has the best sweet tea at Disney.  (After your meal there, ask for a to-go cup so you can take some sweet tea with you; it might be a while before you find some again.)

A few other restaurants serve sweet tea, although I can't guarantee that it tastes as sweet as you'd want. At the Animal Kingdom, the Rainforest Cafe serves Sweet Tea. At Epcot, Nine Dragons serves a sweetened Raspberry Iced Tea, and I've heard that Coral Reef has sweet tea although it doesn't appear on the menu. At Downtown Disney, you'll find sweet tea at the House of Blues. Sadly, I have yet to find a sweet tea in the Magic Kingdom.

Sugar packets are available If you find yourself dining at a restaurant without sweet tea.  When my fellow southern Disney mom, Heather, can't find sweet tea at Disney, she makes her own by ordering hot tea with two tea bags and a glass of ice.

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
