Welcome to planDisney, Leslie!
As I am watching the snow swirl outside my window right now, I'm a little jealous that you'll be arriving at the
Walt Disney World Swan and
Dolphin soon. A visit to Walt Disney World Resort with some palm trees and sunshine sure sounds dreamy!
If you would like to travel from the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin to the Resort Monorail, that is perfectly fine -- you won't need a
Disney Park Pass reservation or an
admission ticket to do this. Bus transportation is provided from the Swan and Dolphin to
Magic Kingdom Park. The bus will drop off Guests at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where the primary
Monorail station is located. You can then take the Resort Monorail, which will make stops at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Magic Kingdom Park, and Disney's Contemporary Resort before returning to the Transportation and Ticket Center. There is also an Express Monorail that goes directly to Magic Kingdom Park. If you prefer, you could also use a taxi or ride-share service instead of taking a bus. The Guest drop-off area is also at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
I hope that helps! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to write us back. Enjoy your visit!
