We are surprising our son for his 16th birthday with a trip to WDW. His favorite meal is lasagne. I would love some suggestions of restaurants where I can get him the best lasagne around!

I love when someone offers me a penne for my thoughts, Tommie! What a wonderful way for you to celebrate your son's birthday! I have a 16-year-old lasagna-loving son, too, so let's talk about some restaurant pasta-bilities!

There's certainly no shortage of Italian restaurants on Walt Disney World property, and we've dined at the majority of them. My hands-down favorite is Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, but the pizza is the star of the show here (the Carciofi Pizza is divine). However, they do have some pasta dishes here, including lasagna. Another fan favorite is Epcot's Tutto Italia Ristorante, where they serve a delicious traditional style lasagne with a beef, veal, and pork ragù. Maria & Enzo's Ristorante is a newcomer to Disney Springs, and they currently have a Roasted Vegetable Lasagna on their menu, if your son is looking for a healthier choice. My top pick, however, would be Trattoria al Forno which is located right on Disney's BoardWalk. The ambiance is welcoming and slightly upscale, and it has a massive open kitchen. Their deep-dish Lasagna al Forno has even been given "THE BEST EVER" award from a friend of mine, and anything that is served with Sunday Gravy has to be good!

Whatever restaurant you choose, Tommie, I hope your son's lasagna so good, it’s pre-pasta-rous!
