We're surprising our kids, ages 8, 4, & 2, with our first MVMCP! I'm looking for tips for having happy, non-exhausted kids for the whole party time. Keep them up late the night before? Try to nap the afternoon of the party? Thanks for your help!

    Hi there Donna!

It's great to assist a fellow Georgian!  Your children are going to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Based on my own personal experience,  I would definitely recommend spending a relaxing day at your resort and trying to get in an afternoon nap if possible. When we attended our first party, my twins were four-years-old and made it until 10:00 p.m. before falling asleep. That being said, I had brought their strollers from home, and they were able to sleep in them while my older two continued to enjoy the party until closer to midnight. Another strategy of ours is to eat a hearty lunch at the resort and a Quick-Service dinner at Magic Kingdom Park, so that we have more time to enjoy all of the special entertainment offerings that are unique to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

I hope these suggestions are helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical and merry trip, Donna!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
