I am surprising my husband with a one night getaway to Disney. I have three hotels in mind: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club or Yacht Club? Out of those, which would be the best hotel to stay at?

Hi, Kristy!  I think I might need additional information to give you the best answer, but I'm going to give it a shot.

First, I love Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I have enjoyed some wonderful, romantic breakfasts with my husband in a savanna view room, as we enjoy a nice meal while watching the animals.  One of our all time favorite restaurants is also in Animal Kingdom, so if you are thinking of an evening meal, you might want to consider if you'll be having it at the hotel where you are staying.  Jiko is our anniversary restaurant, so we tend to stay at Animal Kingdom on our anniversary.

Now, for a completely different experience, either the Yacht or the Beach Club will give you that.  My personal preference is the Yacht over the Beach, but they are quite similar, and I've never had a bad stay at either one.  You'll have the opportunity to enjoy some wonderful walks around the Boardwalk, and if you want to take in one of the clubs or restaurants on the Boardwalk, or even just enjoy the performers, make one of these resorts your choice.  You'll also find the decor lighter and brighter at the Yacht or Beach Club, so if that's a consideration, you may want to choose one of those resorts.

I hope this helps steer you in the right direction!
