I Will be surprising my daughter with a trip to Disneyland on her birthday this year, which also happens to be on Thanksgiving. Is there a restaurant/eating establishment in the park that you recommend to enjoy an actual Thanksgiving dinner?

    Hi Brenna!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How wondEARful of a momma are you to surprise your daughter with a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth, she is one lucky mouseketeer!

My family has done a handful of vacations over the week of Thanksgiving and whether we are at a Disney Park or Aulani-A Disney Resort & Spa, we have always hunted and found a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the fixins'! I'm delighted to let you  know that you will have a handful of options for getting your turkey fix during your visit. As the menus and locations are subject to change, I'd always recommend keeping an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog to see if anything new is in store for 2019. In years past, your options at Disneyland Park for a traditional Thanksgiving meal included River Belle Terrace, French Market Restaurant, Carnation Cafe and Plaza Inn. If you'll find yourself at Disney California Adventure Park on Turkey Day, in years past Wine Country Trattoria and Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land have both offered traditional fare. You really can't go wrong with any of these locations, but for those that accept dining reservations I'd recommend booking right at the 60 day mark, so you are able to guarantee yourself a yummy meal!

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit. Please continue to check back for more information and I hope you have a delicious visit!
